Saree Shopping!!!

I;ve got tonnes of work, but no mood, so taking the time to write on my blog!!! 🙂

My cousin, L’s wedding is around the corner… And my sis and i went Saree shopping [yes, it is L’s wedding, but hey, we need new stuff to wear too right… hehehe]

The store we barged into was Rupkali... Yummy store, anyone wanting to buy a saree [ not kancheepuram patti, or traditional stuff, go here] ..

Why you should go here to shop-

  •  The store has some lovely sarees
  • you are guaranteed a Fun shopping experience
  • they let you try on a zillion sarees and dont cringe
  • There is a salesman who will drape it on you with so much care and love….
  • All in all… An awesome store…. 🙂
  • And….. 
  • They even stitch falls n lining if reqd 
  • To top it all, saree’s are not very pricey!!!

    beautiful sarees and I came here late:(, i have bought a few for my family in north and they wanted something like the pink one.

    Out of context of the post –

    We have this Diwali tradition at home, that we shop together for the occasion. and i spent 3.5 hours in Sundari Silks 🙁 stuck with my Mom and Sister in law!! Thats when i realized married males have infinite patience (my dad n bro)

    Had i gone with my fav colour, i would have picked the blue like many have suggested, but this time decided to try something new!will know when i wear it for my cousin’s reception!!

    Ok… declaring results now!! ONLY ONE person got it all right and he says he aint too sure, just taking a guess!!! 😀 [quite a guess i must say!!] – Vimmu… kalakiteengapa!!!:D

    or kirgit match, 5 day test 5 different sarees.

    you alreddy have so many ! i said.

    my frends may watch me on the TV so i HAVE to wear the ones i never wore before.

    me back from travels Aaartidee, going yaggain to kodai, me not goin buttoo my friends are dragging me along. i avoid tourist places, i am a wilderness man.
