[Thursday Challenge] Wired

Saw this concept –Thursday Challenges last week on Uma‘s blog, but since i was travelling did not have time to put up a post.. Today, thought why not, lets participate
Theme for today is: “TECHNOLOGY” (Machines, Gears, Engines, Mobile Phones, Laptops, Wires, Toy Robots,…)
 
Then: A camera from yesteryear, stored carefully at home!!! The ultimate! Dying to fix it and use .. 
Now: .. The iPod Touch i use to listen to music

    Zeiss was the in thing back in the 60's. Latest technology. i had a box camera, no controls. i saw a picture of Paul McCartney holding an Asahi Pentax. And i wanted THAT. got it years later, second hand or fourth hand. No fun, no thrill in digital though i grabbed it with both hands, had to spend half the travel money on films and processing. Now i travel more with digital.

    from 78s, 45s LP Vinyls to tapes to walkman, to CDs to iPods. Went through all ORTEEDEE. Now people don't really care about audio quality. they just want some sound in the ears. the iPod sound quality is pretty bad actually, oh deeah!.

    Sitting at the door of Coromandel express at 135 KMs/ and listening to moody blues on my walkman was something out of the sky. iPod can't even handle kovai and Brindavan unless you travel in A/C. and the quality is pretty bad. Hideous !
