On Friday evening, my partner got a call to host trivia night at 1st Brewhouse at The Corinthians, all the way across town. Since i’ve not been there, decided to along with him and see what the place was all about. We got off near the entrance and had to go up a long flight of stairs. Ordinarily it would not be an issue, but this was the 1st time I was doing it wearing airboots and wasnt sure or easy or difficult it would be. Well, i made it up and settled into a table. , It was 7.30opm and the place was empty.. EMPTY. Not a single soul apart from us and the two guys on stage ready to perform {Live band}.  one of the staff told us the place usually fills up by 8.30 or so and we decided to wait.  We ordered a German beer but the staff told us he’ll bring us a sampler, which tasted alright but I wasnt in the mood for beer and went with water.

Oktoberfest Cheer
The 1st Brewhouse is in full swing with its Oktoberfest celebrations. The festive decorations, special brews, and the overall spirit of the season add to the vibrant atmosphere. If you’re looking for a place to unwind with good music and good food, or if you want to experience the thrill of a lively trivia night, the 1st Brewhouse is definitely worth a visit.

Food:
The food, while decent, wasn’t the highlight of the evening. However, the live band performance was truly impressive. Their energetic rendition of old popular songs added a lively touch to the ambiance.
As the night progressed, the atmosphere underwent a dramatic transformation. The trivia night kicked off, and though most of the audience weren’t enthusiastic about Oktoberfest related questions, the place erupted with excitement once it switched to Bollywood. The once serene ambiance was replaced by a boisterous energy as people engaged in friendly competition. The crowd, energized by the music and the games, became livelier and more interactive. Chit chatted with a few people who seemed to be regulars at the club.

The place also looked like a nice one for a staycation.
What we ate:
1 Veg Quesadilla – It felt more like dried rotis with stuffing. The fries served along with it were Oh so divine, and so was the salsa.
2. Roti & Chicken Tikka – For the mains we ordered Tandoori Roti and chicken tikka gravy which was delicious. The portion size was huge as well
3. Butter Chicken – Friend ordered this and said it was creamy & delicious.
3. Fresh lime soda [salt]- it was well made and refreshing.
Overall, I’d give the place a 6/10.
